Only 20 sets can be recreated (only 20 Morgan dollars and 20 Peace dollars were counterstamp). 275 Eisenhower dollars were struck and sold in 6 piece coin sets ($1, 50c, 25c, 10c, 5c, and 1c).

Both the Peace and Eisenhower are unlisted by Krause Publication (KP). The Morgan is identified as X# MB74 (KP lists the date as only 1883 (KP needs to update this to reflect other years)).

These are “working sample” specimens I purchased from the original manufacturer a few years ago (I have a letter of provenance from the president of the company that states these are working samples and identifies me as the first purchaser). To the left is the bronze and the right is aluminum.

As you can plainly see the aluminum is thick (8 mm). This is the only known thick variety of 2M-311 in existence.

This is an interesting postal cover the combines philately and numismatics. It’s franking indicates Hawaiian Village Station (location of the convention). The coin is a miniature Saint-Gaudens double eagle.

It’s interesting to find non-numismatic materials that supports a “made in error” numismatic item.

In this case, the “made in error” relates to Hawaiian medals 2M-390 thru 2M-392 (also designated as so-called dollars HK-722, Hk-722a, and HK-722b).

I’ve located the exact logo used by the Honolulu Dairymen’s Association, LTD in a periodical dated 1935. This provides evidence that this is an Hawaiian Dairy token used in the mid-1930’s on the island of Oahu, Territory of Hawaii.
